Why and how aging occurs?
As you are becoming older, your fat and muscles have also started loosening up as the time passes. Your face has no younger looks anymore. Your skin dries out and underlying layer fat is no more there hence making your face loosey and also also takes away the smoothness of the skin from your face. You can control the appearance of wrinkles on your face at some extent but can't stop it completely. Size of the nose may appear big because of weakening in the strength of muscles, the result comes out to be skin goes downward. The absence of teeth from your mouth makes your lip go inwards. At this age, your face also has some dark spots.
All these changes are natural processes. It is a bitter fact that some day your face will look aged. There are also some people who face premature ageing due to their bad lifestyle..For someone it might be a subject of worry. The only thing that you can do is to stop premature ageing by avoiding bad life-style and maintaining the health of your body but the natural ageing of your face and body can't be stopped.
Avoid Alcohol
For maintaining the glow and attractiveness of your face, then your body must be hydrated. With the increase of your age, your metabolism system no longer is that much efficient as you had in your younger age. Due to which, alcohol remains in your body for a longer period of time and dehydrates your body.
Skin Burn Faster Ageing (Photoageing)
The results say that 90%of the premature ageing is due to the damage caused by the sun by exposing throughout the day. Melanie Palm, MD, Medical Director of Art of Skin MD in Solana Beach, California says "Premature ageing of the skin is caused by light exposure". This also includes infrared and visible light.
Your skin consists of 3 layers, epidermis (topmost), dermis (middle), the subcutis (lower most). When U.V rays strike on your skin. It goes into your dermis layer where it damages collagen fibres which stimulate the production of elastin and this elastin further leads to the production of enzymes named metalloproteinases. These enzymes rebuild the damaged collagen but incorrectly. This process goes all the time in the presence of U.V. rays. And hence incorrectly rebuilt skin leads to the generation of wrinkles.
So the result comes out to be to protect yourself from sun exposure or bright light.
Apply Sunscreens
Applying sunscreen on your skin will prove to be very beneficial for the antiaging and also for skin cancer and regular application on your skin can prevent the ageing for a longer period of time. Dr. Palm suggests to use physical sunscreen (containing titanium oxide and zinc oxide)
Dr. Palm also says that there are some sunscreens that contain enzymes which can help to repair the previous damage. Also some studies showed that these products can enhance antiaging process.
Exercises Affect Ageing Differently On Different Part
Exercise increases the rate of flow of blood which increases the rate of healing damage cells present on the upper layer of the body by increasing the reaching rate of immune cells. Ultimately makes your face younger than before. Doing exercise makes your metabolism strong, contributes in the better functioning of the immune system and enhances the performance of other parts of our body. Hence plays an important role in overall health.

Smoking also damages the collagens and elastin fibers which are responsible for strengthening and for unwrinkled skin. But you are not too late to get benefit of this, your skin will start looking younger from that day whenever you will quit smoking in the future.
Moisturize your skin
